Intermediate Art (Period 6) Assignments

Intermediate Art will include a variety of art projects that will reinforce students’ drawing, painting, and sculpting skills. They will create art projects based off of different art history movements and styles. Students will hone their technical skills from the previous Beginning Art level. They will be able to recognize, analyze, and develop skills in the elements of art (line, shape, form, space, texture, value, color) and the principles of art (harmony, balance, proportion, emphasis, variety, movement, and rhythm). Students will develop their ability to analyze and present artwork to their peers and, at times, to the community.
