Welcome to Mr. Kearney's Page!
Hi, my name is Mr. Joe Kearney and I am Escobedo's sixth grade and seventh grade resource math teacher. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I received my Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Oregon State University. I received my Masters of Science in Special Education from National University. I have twenty-three years of teaching experience. This is my first year at Escobedo and I am very excited to be here!
Parents, expectations for your children are very high with them displaying appropriate behavior and learning the core curriculum for their classes.
In my classes, students will be learning about: integers and absolute value; adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers; rational numbers; adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers; algebraic expressions; solving equations; graphing; perimeter, area, and volume of objects.
My conference period is M-F from 1:32pm to 2:24pm. You are also welcomed to email me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
